Adjudicators - James Mark

James Mark, Music Director and Conductor of the NBYO since 1994, he received his musical education at the Eastman School of Music, the Royal College of Music in London, England, and completed his doctoral degree at the University of Michigan. He is Professor Emeritus at Mount Allison University where he conducted the Mount Allison Symphonic Band and taught clarinet and saxophone. He is also the Conductor of the Prince Edward Island Symphony Orchestra and performs as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the Atlantic Provinces.
